7th July 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 16-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot surf Air Temperature: 16ºC Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Steve and I had been waiting all afternoon for the wind to pick up. The kiters were just about goinf and then eventually it did fill in a bit so we headed off to the beach with our big kit. At first there just wasn't enoguh even for our big (100ltr) boards and big (6.7-7m) sails. We had a chat with Harvey on the beach then gave it another go and this time just about got going. The wind then filled in a little more allowing us to blast along nicely I even had some fun in the waves on my S-Type. Not bad really, but not as good as a full on 30 knots! |
